While all of the Nordic currencies and the Swiss franc depreciated against the dollar in February, weak Swedish inflation data and dovish comments from the Riksbank meant that the drop in the krona was by far the largest. Meanwhile, many countries’ equities regained most of the losses recorded during the global equity sell-off at the start of February, but Swiss equities finished the month much lower.
