The price of silver has been a notable casualty of the sell-off in commodity markets in the last few days. This is in line with the traditional pattern of under-performance by silver when the prices of other metals, especially gold but also industrials, are falling. However, assuming metals in general recover over the remainder of the year, as we expect, silver could now be set to shine.
