Strong Q4 in Colombia, but can it last?

Following bumper growth in Colombia last year and a strong start to this year, concerns about overheating are likely to resurface. We remain fundamentally upbeat on the economy and expect a soft landing, with GDP growth slowing from 5.0% this year to 3.5% in 2013. But the longer that the current boom in domestic demand continues, the greater the risk of an abrupt correction further ahead.
