Peruvian GDP growth slowed in Q3, but the outlook remains good. The key challenge for policymakers will be to channel an influx of foreign capital into productive capacity and prevent overheating. By contrast, the outlook for Mexico is less favourable. Interest rates were held at 4.5% earlier today and are unlikely to move up before 2012.
