The Capital Economics Argentina Activity Indicator shows that Argentina’s economy continued to recover in the final quarter of 2012. Even so, we estimate that GDP growth was close to zero for the year as a whole. The latest data also suggest that the recent rebound has been overwhelmingly driven by the agricultural sector and that other parts of the economy have been a lot slower to pick up.
