Valuations suggest prospects brighter for EM than DM equities

The valuation of emerging market (EM) equities relative to those in the developed world is the lowest it has been in recent memory. All else equal, this ought to lead to superior returns over the longer run, and is one reason why we expect EM equities to outperform over the next couple of years.
