After a record-breaking 2021, survey evidence points to a strong start to the year for pan-European (excluding UK) investment volumes. With pent-up demand mostly exhausted, we expect transactions to slow in the second half of the year. Nonetheless that will leave them at just over €260bn for the year, only 5% lower than in 2021 and matching 2019.
