Figures released today show Thailand’s economy continued to gain momentum in Q2, and is now growing at its fastest pace in y/y terms since Q1 2013. We expect growth to remain relatively strong over the next couple of quarters, helped by strong external demand and loose monetary and fiscal policy. The uncertain political situation is the main risk to the outlook.
