Path towards tighter BoE policy, and higher Gilt yields, is clearer

The Bank of England left rates unchanged today, and we think that it will continue to keep policy on hold in 2020, before hiking in 2021. As such, we expect the 10-year UK government bond (Gilt) yield to rise further over the next couple of years.
