US continues to lead the way on our AI index

A year ago, we developed our proprietary AI Economic Impact Index, which ranks major economies according to their ability to realise the benefits of AI. We have updated that index, and the big picture remains the same. The US is still leading the AI revolution and will accrue the biggest productivity benefits; developed Asian countries stand well-placed to benefit from AI, but Europe less so; and while China is leading in some aspects, it is struggling in others, and faces a growing headwind from US restrictions on tech exports.
