Justin Chaloner
Head of Economic Data
Justin Chaloner is Head of Economic Data at Capital Economics, with responsibility for all of our data output, including data visualisations and proprietary data series. He was previously a Senior Economist on our Global Economics and Consultancy teams. Prior to joining Capital Economics in October 2013, Justin was a research analyst at Bank of America Merrill Lynch specialising in equity strategy. Justin has a degree in Economics from the University of Cambridge.

Rhydian Walsh
Assistant Data Economist
Rhydian is an Assistant Data Economist in our Economic Data team. He has previously worked at the Office for National Statistics in the UK where he helped to inspect and clean data, as well as develop data visualisation scripts. He has experience of creating visualisations from large and complex datasets using PowerBI, Python and PowerPoint. Rhydian has a degree in economics from the University of Bath.

Sepideh Dolatabadi
Econometrician
Sepideh is an Econometrician in our Economic Data team and is responsible for developing many of our proprietary indicators, including our GDP Nowcasts. Sepideh has been with Capital Economics since 2019. She has extensive experience in forecasting analysis and is proficient in programming languages such as R, Python, and MATLAB. She holds a PhD degree in Economics from Queen’s University in Canada, and her thesis focused on the application of time series analysis in international macroeconomics and finance.
