A comparison of median new home prices to median household income implies that housing valuations are at levels which could foreshadow a price correction. But we put more faith in valuation measures based on existing home prices and earnings. These show that housing is looking a little expensive, but not dangerously so. Therefore, while interest rates stay low, the risks of a price correction are small.
