The rally in many risky asset markets is mature and valuations are no longer attractive from a historical perspective. The recovery in the major developed economies is also likely to peter out soon. This should curb investors’ enthusiasm for risk even if the crisis in Greece is temporarily resolved to markets’ satisfaction. Corrections still seem more likely than crashes. But commodity prices may fall particularly sharply.
