We do not think that dovish guidance from developed market (DM) central banks about the near-term outlook for policy rates is a barrier to longer-term bond yields rising in markets where the economic outlook is improving significantly. So, given our upbeat economic forecasts, we suspect that the rise in longer-term bond yields in many DMs will resume before long.
